Her role and involvement in Politics has ensured and maintained sanity, uprightness, decorum and fair play.

She is outspoken and clean lady of integrity and has been highly recognized in Christian circles as a faithful and honest lady.

She is a committed Christian with big heart for charity and philanthropic ministry which she heads in many places. Awards and Honours Mrs. Josephine Nwogo Anenih is a highly respected woman who carries herself with honour and prestige. Her carriage of self, valued of honesty and respect made her live a clean life. She is therefore picked out to be honoured with the Respected Title oi’IYOM exclusively reserved for Ladies of Quintessence and dignity. She is indeed a Respected Daughter (Ada Ndi Igbo) of the Igbo Nation.

Iyom Josephine Anenih has boldly and diplomatically demonstrated the role of a typical Nationalist she is both in her place of Birth and In Marriage. She is born Igbo married to Edo man a very special act of bravery and commitment by only those who believe in the Unity and Progress of Nigeria. Like the Biblical Queen Esther, Iyom Josephine Nwogo Anenih is married to an non-Igbo where she has used her goodwill. Igbo spirit of Oneness, spirit of industry, hard work, integrity, intelligence, respect for the sanctity and eternal values for families, earned respect from her matrimonial home. Her marriage to Chief Tony Anenih. A onetime Federal Minister of Works and Housing and currently, Chairman Board of Trustees of Peoples Democratic Party is not a marriage of convenience necessitated by political or war-time exigencies but by Igbo spirit of Love, and sincerity. She is therefore respected in Edo State as a distinguished lady.

She is thus another Igbo Icon in Diaspora projecting the image of her proud pedigree and ancestry. The marriage is blessed with brilliant and obedient children. She is challenged as an Igbo Icon to be reminded that her royal background and honourable ancestry is no longer what it used to be when she married and it is now being gradually and systematically dragged to the mud’. Like Queen Esther in the Palace, God has placed her where she is at a lime like this to continue to be an Icon and work towards the restoration of the Dignity of Man and the end of the marginal ization of her people.
