Mrs. Ngozi Nwanze is the Group Company Secretary\/Legal Adviser, Slok Group, an indigenous Conglomerate with numerous sectoral interests, including the Sun publishing company (Sun Newspapers) and shipping.<\/p>\n
She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, having read Law at the University of Jos and passed through the Nigeria Law School, Lagos. She also holds a Master Degree in Law from the University of Lagos, where she distinguished herself in academic excellence.
\nNwanze started her working career with NICON Insurance Plc, as Legal Officer in 1990, where she worked for several years.
\nIn 2006, she left NICON as Manager in charge of the Legal Department, Lagos office for private practice with Abel partners as the Associate partner until 2009, when she joined Slok Nigeria Ltd., as the Group Company Secretary\/Legal Adviser.
\nEndowed with a rich experience through numerous professional travels, continuous seminars and workshops on Legal related matters, she is a member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, Nigeria.<\/p>\n
Her role in helping to reshape the fortunes of Slok Group, especially in the shipping sub-sector stands her out as an MMS Plus\u2019 Woman of Fortune Hall of Famer in the Class of 2013.
