Amazons are a carefully selected intermediate professional women of distinction who have evidently proven to be change- makers and drivers in their chosen fields of career.
The MMS Amazons are recognized and admitted into the fold of Amazon family yearly to mark the International Women’s Day (IWD), which is globally marked every March 8 but we defer our event for our philosophy and logistics convenience.
The event is focused on thinking out new ways to encourage and deepen women inclusion in different sectors of the economy and touching the lives of the less privileged while celebrating the Amazons and creating a networking platform amongst Hall of Famers and between the Amazons.
The event is also called MMS Hall of Famers Day meant for them to also interface with younger generation of women who want to meet them while they reflect on how best to be impactful to their community , environment and sectors.
Every select set of Amazons has a unique adjectival feature of identification. In 2019 we had the Indomitable Amazons; 2020, UN Generation Amazons;2022, Sustainable Amazons. Periodically, some Amazons are upgraded to Hall of Famers based on their assessment and performance.
A select group of women of substance, leaders and role models who have distinguished themselves exceptionally in their chosen career paths in different sectors of the economy, especially from the maritime, aviation, finance, technology, oil, gas, as well as political sectors, amongst others.
